Just announced - Romano British Writing Tablet project 2023 - 2028

The Romano British Writing Tablet programme has been nominated as an Academy Research Project for 2023-2028.

Director Prof. Alan Bowman, co-Directors Roger Tomlin and Prof. Alex Mullen.

The current focus is to create a corpus of all wooden and metal writing tablets from Roman Britain, which will be published in the forthcoming volume of RIB IV, and improving imaging techniques for stylus texts. For more details follow this link.
